Ted Rogers is a multidisciplinary artist based in Margate. Their expansive practice is rooted primarily in movement, yet is unrestrained to the often claustrophobic and technical trappings of dance. Rogers’ practice incorporates film, ceramics, installation and the performative act of drawing.
In their work they explore expulsive emotional extremity through stripped-back, high-camp performativity where timing, pacing and rhythm take a brutalist approach to queerness.
